Its been an exciting week – not only with the Apple iPhone 5 release but the Led Zeppelin Facebook page have been counting down to a surprise! Keeping us in suspense wondering what it was – We “the fans” were hoping for a concert tour even though we knew deep down it wouldn’t happen.
We finally found out that there is to be Movie - a Film of the Concert that was performed at the O2 Arena in 2007 which was a tribute concert for Ahmet Ertegun. John Paul Jones, Jimmy Page and Robert Plant were joined by Jason Bonham, the son of drummer John Bonham who passed away in 1980 took to the stage to perform all your favourite tracks as follows…

When will the Lep Zeppelin Movie be shown?
The Movie will be shown from around the 17th of October in cinemas – you can check for dates on the LedZeppelin.com – and hopefully DVD’s will be available from November.
This is very exciting and from the trailer looks to be an amazing concert so I can’t wait – even though I’m a little disappointed as I never got to see Led Zeppelin live and I was willing to pay top bucks this time to ensure I made it this time.
I torrented a bootleg copy of this performance a few days after it went down and i will say they sounded tighter than they did when they were in their prime! Jason did an excellent job filling in for his late, great father.
In short, you’re in for a treat, and I can’t wait to see it again!
